Terms of Use
What you can expect from this site, what we ask of you, and the limits of what anyone can reasonably promise about a free calculator.
Accepting these terms
By using numorox.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, the remedy is simply not to use the site.
The calculators are informational
Everything here produces an estimate for planning purposes. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and nothing here is an offer of credit, a rate quote, a valuation, or a recommendation to take any particular action.
NUMOROX is not a lender, a broker, a bank, an investment adviser, an accountant or a law firm, and no relationship of that kind is created by your using this site.
Financial decisions of any size deserve a professional who knows your circumstances. A calculator does not know your circumstances.
Accuracy, and its limits
We take the arithmetic seriously. Every formula on this site is documented on the page that uses it, every calculator is covered by automated tests, and the assumptions each one makes are stated rather than hidden.
Even so, results depend entirely on the figures you enter and on assumptions that may not match your situation. Rates, rules and costs change. Lenders, employers and tax authorities calculate things in ways that differ in detail from any general model.
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
If you find a result you believe is wrong, please tell us — see the contact page. Corrections are the fastest way this site gets better.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NUMOROX is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from any decision made in reliance on it, including without limitation lost profits, lost savings, or other indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
How you may use the site
You are welcome to use these calculators for personal or business purposes, and to share links to them freely.
You agree not to:
- attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems that serve it;
- scrape or copy the site systematically in order to reproduce it, in whole or in substantial part, elsewhere;
- present results from this site as your own professional advice to another person;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law.
Content and ownership
The text, design, code and structure of this site belong to NUMOROX. You may quote or cite the site with attribution. Republishing substantial portions of it requires permission.
Mathematical formulas themselves are nobody’s property. The explanations, worked examples and presentation of them here are.
Links to other sites
Where this site links elsewhere, that is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of sites we do not run.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page records when they last did. We may also add, change or withdraw calculators at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
